About the Workshop

The workshop will introduce participants to AI, Machine Learning (ML), and large language model (LLM)-based tools and techniques applied across various domains of the life sciences. The program will combine lectures with extensive hands-on sessions, enabling participants to practice these approaches on multi-omics datasets and explore applications of Generative AI. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped to apply the skills and insights they have acquired to their own research projects.

Who Can Participate

Students (B.Sc./B.Tech/M.Sc./M.Tech/MBBS), Research Fellows (JRF/SRF/RA etc.), PhD students, Faculty, and Scientists.

  • Participants must have basic knowledge of Biological data analysis in Python and R.
  • Participants must bring their laptops for the hands-on sessions (for the full workshop).
  • No TA/DA and accommodation will be provided to the candidates.
  • Selection will be done based on CV (indicating the degree), academic record, and area of research.
  • Demo data, manuals, and certificates will be provided for the participants selected for the full workshop.
