Welcome to PFusionDB
PFusionDB is a plant exclusive database dedicated to fusion transcripts identified within a diverse set of phylogenetically distinct plant species. Our research effort involved the analysis of comprehensive datasets comprising 2795 RNA-seq samples of four prominent plant species viz. Arabidopsis thaliana, Cicer arietinum, Oryza sativa indica, and Oryza sativa japonica. Here, the identification of fusion transcripts was conducted using a combination of five distinct tools: EricScript, MapSplice, Squid, STAR-Fusion, and TrinityFusion. A total of 3,24,486 Fusion transcripts, each with different sets of information like parental genes, samples, experiments, gene annotation, GO, Junction sequence, etc. are available in this database. PFusionDB is believed to be highly beneficial for the exploration of diverse Fusion transcripts in plants and can contribute to the discovery of novel functions and roles of Fusion transcripts.
